Athletes
of all fields constantly push their body
to extreme
limits
and often micro or
minor injuries such as strained or sprained
ankles and knees may lead to a loss of vital
information from relay systems (proprioceptors)
linked to the brain. Impact injuries* may
also often occur.
This may cause compensation
to appear in other body parts thus slowing
down performance
time or ability. Results of this may appear
as repetitive injuries (including torn ligaments
and shin splints), decrease in flexibility
and spasming in hypertonic muscles.
Need here is to restore proper nerve conduction
to the affected muscles and joints which
in turn will aid in your overall performance.
*You may be required to wear or bring shorts/loose
track pants and T-shirt. |
